6 Years/ Anos

ja design studio 6 years6 years … today we celebrate 6 years of existence, with great achievements, great defeats, huge partners and customers and unconditional support from those who put up with me every day.

oh and of course always accompanied by my assistant designers, “full time father, part-time designer” remains current.

the time is for celebrations, yes, they are and will be even more difficult times (with help through examples of bad business practices and unfair competition), but we all have to be positive and with the hope that everything will pass soon. it won’t be the same again, I hope. I hope there is a sense of what really matters. that people, the connections and bonds that are created are not valued and not to what one dresses, wins or leads. I expect. but I know it won’t be like that.

like many professional colleagues, it was going to be a big year! we lost about 70% of customers. we don’t close. we don’t ask for layoffs, or social security support, or loans full of small print. we are warriors, sheep I say that we were born in this infinite day and we always fought until the end for everything.

I thank everyone on this side who supports us, even those who did not, because the balance is balanced with black and white, bad and good, only then we grow and evolve for the better. how to be human and professional.

I leave once again the request to protect themselves well, stay at home, stay healthy as much as possible, we have already spent 6 years working at home with children, we know it is not easy, it never was and will not be. but it can be less painful, be less demanding, more present. those who are alone do not need to be there, there is always a phone, an email, a video conference to talk silly.

we are here alive and as always at a distance from an email to help you. in this phase even if it is with tips on how to overcome the “tele-work” phase without going crazy.

6 anos… hoje comemoramos 6 anos de existência, com grandes conquistas, grandes derrotas, enormes parceiros e clientes e um apoio incondicional de quem me atura todos os dias.
 
ah e claro sempre acompanhado dos meus designers ajudantes, “full time father, part-time designer” continua actual.
 
o momento é de comemorações sim, são e irão ser ainda momentos mais difíceis (com ajudas pelo meio de exemplos de más práticas empresariais e de concorrência desleal), mas temos todos de estar positivos e com a esperança que tudo passa em breve. não voltará a ser o mesmo, espero. espero que haja noção do que realmente importa. que se dê valor às pessoas, às ligações e laços que se criam e não ao que se veste, ganha ou conduz. espero. mas sei que não será assim.
 
como muitos colegas de profissão, ia ser um ano do caraças! perdemos cerca de 70% de clientes. não fechamos. não pedimos layoffs, nem apoios da segurança social nem empréstimos cheios de letras pequeninas. somos guerreiros, carneiros digo eu que nascemos neste dia infinito e sempre lutamos até ao fim por tudo.
 
agradeço a todos desse lado que nos apoiam, mesmo quem não apoiou, porque a balança equilibra-se com o preto e branco, mau e bom, só assim crescemos e evoluímos para melhor. como ser humanos e profissionais.
 
deixo mais uma vez o pedido de se protegerem bem, fiquem em casa, mantenha-se sãos dentro do possível, ja levamos 6 anos de trabalho em casa com crianças, sabemos que não é fácil, nunca foi nem será. mas pode ser menos doloroso, sejam menos exigentes, mais presentes. quem está sozinho(a) não precisa de estar, há sempre um telefone, um email, uma video conferencia para falar parvoíces.
 
estamos aqui vivos e como sempre a uma distancia de um email para vos ajudar. nesta fase nem que seja com dicas de como ultrapassar a fase do “tele-trabalaho” sem dar em doido(a).
